Managing environmental matters is an integral part of our business. We address the latest climate and environmental regulations, by avoiding any source of potential danger for both people and the environment. We use available resources carefully and responsibly.
Environment
Work processes, premises and tools must correspond to the statutory provisions on occupational health and safety, fire prevention and environmental norms. We prevent pollution and commit to carbon and sulfur emission reduction by using advanced technologies and aiming for recycling possibilities. We constantly measure energy consumption and use energy from renewable sources as much as possible. We support important environment protection projects to save the ocean as such SusTunTech and H2Ocean Project.
Social company
People are our most important asset and are key to business success. Therefore, creating a good working environment, providing our people with career development opportunities and with the tools necessary to perform their work in the best possible way, is of paramount importance.
Our employment policies focus on stability and long-term collaboration through fixed-term and permanent contracts, as a mean of promoting human resources retention and growth.
Governance
Since the last quarter of 2021, we’re happy to disclose and improve our non-financial ESG data.
Following a proper ESG assessment, we adopted a detailed ESG action plan of which the policy is an integral part, as well the appointment of an ESG Manager in charge of the collection of the ESG data and completion of a periodical ESG monitoring tool.
We also comply with the principles of the Organisation, Management and Control Model, pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree 231/2001 and its Spanish equivalent (Ley Oganica 1/2015). The relevant implementation procedures and policies, including a Code of Ethics and a whistleblowing system, help to ensure compliance with business ethics practices.
We constantly monitor and address the complex regulatory landscape around product safety and sustainability, while also investing in new technologies and digital transformation. This helps managing potential risks caused by supply chain disruption.
